AS/A Level Sociology
- Graig Campus
Sociology is the study of human behaviours and interactions and is an area of growing academic interest and influence. This sociology course takes an in-depth look at contemporary issues in our society such as social inequalities with regards to race, gender, and social class through studying social institutions such as the family, education and crime.
As well as encountering these topics in the academic classroom, college visits to places such as HM Prison Swansea, help students apply the theory to practical situations as well as gain an insight into the multitude of careers on offer in this field.
