A-Levels

With over 30 subjects on offer, studying A-Levels at Coleg Sir Gâr is a fantastically flexible way to further your education. 

The ability to study multiple subjects will enable you to specialise in your areas of interest or to keep your options open if you are undecided on your future pathway. Studying A-Levels with us will allow you to tailor your experience to your strengths and ambitions, ensuring that your time at college is as fulfilling as it is rewarding.

Naturally, studying A-levels can lead to undergraduate study at university, with on average 85-90% of our students choosing this pathway every year.  However, higher education is not the only option.  Studying A-Levels at Coleg Sir Gâr will help you develop critical thinking, problem-solving and independent research skills, all essential qualities in well-rounded individuals making successful applications for competitive apprenticeship and employment positions. 

Sir Gar 6, our A-Level faculty, is  based on the Graig campus.  Our knowledgeable and experienced staff are committed in supporting all learners to fulfil their potential.  During your time with us, tutors will help you navigate the transition from school to college and prepare you to take your next steps with confidence, whether you choose to continue your academic pursuits or take the firsts steps into the world of work.
