Construction management is an exciting career choice which has a range of responsibilities and possibilities within a very fast growing industry.
This two-year part-time degree programme is validated and accredited by University Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and is intended to provide a coherent programme of study which develops the theoretical, practical and management skills necessary to meet the demands of a dynamic, rapidly changing industry.
It has been designed to provide a qualification appropriate for those people already practising, those who intended to practise as construction professionals and those wanting to progress onto further study.

What you will learn
The main aim of the course is to meet the changing needs of the built environment by preparing those studying at this level to gain a recognised degree that meets the current and future needs of the industry.
The modular programme comprises five modules (a total of 120 Level 6 credits).

- Construction Contract and Environmental Law
- Construction Technology for Sustainable Buildings
- Construction Management Studies
- Modules in Year 2 -
- Integrated Group Project
- Dissertation (8,000 words)
This course provides an opportunity for those wishing to progress in, or enter into, a range of construction related careers such as architectural technology, project management, building control, surveying, site management, maintenance and services.
Year 1 assessment will be through three module assignments and three examinations.
Year 2 assessment will be through an integrated group project assignment and an 8,000 word dissertation.
Foundation degree, or HND related qualification subject to UWTSD regulations.
