This Level 3 Apprenticeship in Bricklaying is designed for individuals aged 16 and above who are currently working in the trade. The course provides comprehensive training in bricklaying, covering both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. It is approved for use in Wales and eligible for Welsh Government funding, ensuring learners gain the necessary competencies to excel in the construction industry. Successful completion leads to recognition as a qualified Bricklayer and the award of a CSCS Advanced Craft Card.

What you will learn
The programme includes qualifications, essential skills training, and both on-the-job and off-the-job training, with a total minimum credit value of 118. Learners will develop core bricklaying skills, professional judgement, and an understanding of industry regulations. The apprenticeship also promotes equality and diversity, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
The apprenticeship comprises mandatory qualifications, essential skills training in communication and application of number, and significant on-the-job and off-the-job training hours.
Upon completion, apprentices can apply for the CSCS Advanced Craft Card, progress to higher-level apprenticeships, or advance to supervisory and managerial roles within the construction industry. Continuous learning and adherence to industry standards are expected for career advancement.
Assessment includes a combination of practical evaluations and theoretical exams, conducted in both English and Welsh.
