This course covers the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales) and meets the requirements of the WRAS (the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) of which the majority of the UK Water companies are members.

Programme Description
Learner must reside legally in Wales and be aged 19 years old or over.
In addition, individuals must be:

employed (including Agency and Zero-hours contracts) or
-
self-employed or
-
full-time carers (incl. non-paid)
There is no funding wage cap for this course.
The twelve modules needed to gain certification are included in this training. Individuals must successfully complete this course to satisfy some of the entry requirements for meeting the criteria to join a competent person scheme where a recognised plumbing certificate may be needed.
This course is ideal for plumbers looking to gain an understanding of the Water Regulations 1999.
Completion of this course allows the individual/business to register with a Competent Persons scheme allowing the self-certifying of unvented hot water storage systems installations. This course can also be used as a prerequisite for attendance on our Heat Pump Training course.
