Programme Description

Learner must reside legally in Wales and be aged 19 years old or over.

In addition, individuals must be:

employed (including Agency and Zero-hours contracts) or

self-employed or

full-time carers (incl. non-paid)

their annual basic salary does not go over £32,371

The PRINCE2 (7th edition) Practitioner training course, will teach learners the PRINCE2 methodology, which comprises seven core Principles, Themes and Processes. The Principles represent the ‘why’, the Themes represent the ‘what’, and the Processes represent the ‘how’ of project management. Together these methodologies provide a clear path to help ensure project management success.

Completing this qualification will allow learners to benefit from a qualification recognised worldwide. It will boost their confidence in managing projects and improve their employability and career prospects.

This PRINCE2 Practitioner course is suitable for individuals who have already completed the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification and are keen to progress onto more senior responsibilities within a project management team, such as becoming a Project Manager.

Entry Requirements

To start studying the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification, learners will need to have passed either the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification (5th Edition or 6th Edition) or:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • IPMA Level A, B, C, or D
