Programme Description

To ensure learners are fully equipped to carry out MOT testing various topics are covered in this course. These include relevant acts and regulations, tools for the job, when you can refuse to begin a test, use of the testing manual, standards and procedures. As well as, documentation and security, use of the online MOT testing service, routine inspection and classes of vehicle.

This comprehensive course allows learners to gain the knowledge, skill and confidence to carry out MOT testing. Delivered by highly trained and experienced automotive experts giving learners the best learning experience possible.

This course is designed for motor vehicle technicians currently working within the industry who wish to become qualified in MOT testing.

On successful completion of this course learners will be qualified as an MOT tester, achieving the National Occupational Standard. Once a certificate of completion has been awarded the learner is able to apply to the DVSA to be authorised as an MOT tester.
