Student Transport - Coleg Ceredigion
- From September 2024 only learners aged 16 to 18 will be eligible for student transport
- Free transport is provided along key routes to students whose weekly timetables are 16 hours or above. Key routes are available in the bus timetable information
- If you live outside Ceredigion or Carmarthenshire you may be required to pay a £100 contribution towards the cost of the bus pass
- New and returning students must apply for transport every year
- Bus passes must be applied for through your Prospect college account at https://apply.ceredigion.ac.uk/ as part of the online enrolment process
- If you haven’t been contacted regarding enrolment during July and August, please email admissions@ceredigion.ac.uk to check on the status of your course application

When can I use my bus pass?
Bus passes may only be used on the services indicated on your bus pass, up until 9.00am in the mornings and between 4.00pm and 6.00pm in the afternoons.
What if I don’t live near a pick-up point?
If you live in Ceredigion, but more than 1.5 miles from the nearest bus pick-up point, you may be eligible to claim back travelling expenses from the Local Authority. You will have the opportunity to apply for this at the same time as your bus pass.
Learners with medical conditions, disabilities or learning difficulties may be eligible for a taxi or bus provision, subject to relevant supporting evidence. These applications are considered on an individual basis.
