The GCSE English language course will also allow you to further develop your understanding in English and allow you to transfer the skills that you have developed, across your learning programme as a whole.

The course will provide you with the opportunity to develop oracy and reading and writing skills through exposure to a range of tasks.

You will learn how to present information and select and organise information and ideas effectively and persuasively, respond, reflect and analyse a wide range of written texts as well as producing clear and coherent written texts.

The majority of universities and employers are now insisting that learners and employees demonstrate a good grasp of literacy and obtaining a GCSE in English will allow you to widen your career and study options.
