Coleg Ceredigion Students Selected for Shanghai Squad 2026

Three talented students from Coleg Ceredigion have been selected to join Tîm Cymru as part of the prestigious Shanghai Squad 2026. 

Shannon Brown, Katy Law and Caitlin Meredith will be representing Wales as they embark on their journey towards the WorldSkills international competition in China.

WorldSkills is a global event that showcases the best young talent in vocational skills, with competitors from across the world demonstrating their expertise in a variety of disciplines. 

Shannon, Katy and Caitlin’s selection is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and the high-quality training they have received at Coleg Ceredigion.

As the journey to Shanghai 2026 begins, the Inspiring Skills project will be providing additional training and development opportunities for squad members, ensuring they are fully prepared for the challenge ahead. Further details will be shared with them individually in the coming weeks.
