Coleg Ceredigion Lecturer Wins National Chef of Wales Title

Sam Everton, a lecturer at Coleg Ceredigion, has been named the 2025 National Chef of Wales, marking an extraordinary achievement in the culinary world.
Sam became only the second person in history to win the prestigious title back-to-back, having also secured the Junior Chef of Wales title just one year ago.
He said: I’m absolutely over the moon to have won the National Chef of Wales title this year! To be only the second person ever to win it back-to-back, after taking the Junior title last year and now the Senior, is just unreal. It’s been an incredible journey, celebrating Welsh food and the amazing ingredients we have right here in Wales. Looking forward to the next round that is set internationally!”
As part of his prize, Sam will now represent Wales in the upcoming international culinary competition, showcasing the country’s rich food heritage on the global stage.
Coleg Ceredigion is proud of Sam’s achievement and continues to support and nurture future culinary talents in Wales.
