After missing two years of school due to mental health struggles, Angelina returned to education at Coleg Sir Gâr and successfully completed her Maths, Science, and English GCSEs, achieving A*, A*, and B grades.

Angelina missed years 10 and 11 after the loss of a close family member impacted her mental health. However, by September 2023, she felt ready to return and pursue her core GCSEs.

Although nervous about re-entering education, Angelina received tremendous support from both her teachers and the wellness team, which helped make her transition back to learning much smoother.

Her dedication paid off, resulting in amazing grades: an A* in Maths, an A* in Science, and a B in English.

Now, Angelina has begun her A-Level studies at Coleg Sir Gâr, studying Business, Media, and Photography, and is excited about what lies ahead. With renewed confidence and a passion for learning, she is committed to excelling in her A-Levels.

Her resilience and dedication are an inspiration to others, showing that with the right support and mindset, overcoming challenges is possible.

Reflecting on her journey, Angelina shared: “I was nervous starting, but the support and guidance I’ve had helped me achieve amazing grades. I’m really looking forward to moving on with my A-Levels.”
