Graduation Date
Thursday 3 July 2025 - Personal invitations have been emailed to eligible graduates.
Graduation ceremonies are the highlight of the academic calendar. They provide the opportunity for students to celebrate their achievements with family and friends.

Graduation Information
Two guest tickets per student will be allowed but you can request additional tickets via graduation@colegsirgar.ac.uk if you wish. Once the number of students graduating has been confirmed a decision will be made on whether extra tickets can be allocated. This decision will not be made until one week before the ceremonies so please do not telephone querying the availability of additional tickets. The tickets will be available for collection on the day of the ceremony but you will receive an email in advance confirming the number of tickets you will receive. The ceremonies are not appropriate for children under the age of five years due to the formal nature of the proceedings.
We recognise that limiting guest tickets in this way may cause some disappointment, but you will appreciate that the seating capacity in the main venue is limited.
If you wish to attend a Graduation Ceremony, you are required to wear full academic dress appropriate to the award to which you will be admitted. You are responsible for ordering this yourself at Ede & Ravenscroft.
You should place your order at least 21 days prior to the ceremony as Ede & Ravenscroft will not guarantee the order if placed any later. Do not wait until the final assessment results are known. Refunds are available for any reason you are not able to attend, but you must notify Ede & Ravenscroft within seven days prior to the Ceremony. Their cancellation policy is available on their website. Ede & Ravenscroft will acknowledge receipt of your order when processed but you may not receive this until ten days before your Ceremony.
To place an order please enter ‘Coleg Sir Gar’ when asked to ‘Select Your Institution’. You will also need to know your head circumference, chest and height measurements.
Your robes will be available for you to collect from the Ffwrnes Theatre on Graduation Day. Please remember to return your robes after the ceremony, unless you have arranged to hire them for a longer period.
Orders for formal photographs should be made in advance directly through Ede & Ravenscroft.
On Graduation Day, the photography studios and sales desk will be located in the Ffwrnes Theatre.
