Programme Description

Working towards achieving an Essential Skills Wales qualification will teach you how to organise data, convert between fractions, decimals and percentages, carry out calculations, interpret results and findings, gain an understanding of mathematical vocabulary, apply maths skills and knowledge to solve real life problems and achieve accredited qualifications.

Coleg Sir Gâr are pleased to be working with Adult Learning Wales and Carmarthenshire ACL Partnership to make courses available at 25+ venues for those living and working in Carmarthenshire.

• Small group (maximum of 8 learners)
• Tailored support with a numeracy tutor
• Blended learning module option (face to face and online)
• Meeting other people in a supported and safe setting.

Adults aged 19+ who do not have a GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) in maths.
