- Appointments and appointment systems

- General office administration duties
- Importance of time management and accuracy
Communication Skills will include:
- Develop skills to communicate with a range of peoplelogy
- Develop skills in face-to-face, written and non-verbal communication
- Develop understanding of the importance of communication and factors which make communication difficult
- Develop skills for composing appropriate written documents
Candidates achieving this qualification can progress:

Method of Assessment
Assessment will be in the form of two time constrained tasks - one in Medical Administration and one in Communication Skills - which will generate evidence of achievement for all assessment criteria and required learning outcomes.

You are asked to submit work for assessment at the end of each unit of study. Each specialist unit is graded. The work is subject to internal and external verification.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, although a good understanding of the English language is considered to be beneficial with particular focus on accuracy in spelling, together with either experience in a medical environment or a wish to move into this area.
The course incurs part time fees in Fee band H.
